About Me

I’m Hattie Morris, a BJTC-accredited Broadcast Journalist, recently working as a Researcher on ITV’s Oscars Live. In this role, I pre-interviewed panel guests, produced a 100-page research brief, supported the edit of ITVX explainer VTs, and spent the night spotting arrivals on the LA red carpet-feeding real-time updates to the LA production team and EVS.

I’ve been fortunate to contribute to programmes close to my heart, including Loose Women and its Features team on Loose Women: The Music, which has been nominated for a Royal Television Society Award, as well as the Facing It Together domestic abuse campaign. This initiative reached over 600 venues nationwide and was presented in Parliament.

Alongside this, I’ve collaborated with film critic Mark Kermode at the BFI and Anna Smith on the Girls On Film podcast, supporting research, producing social content, and working on-location, most notably covering the 78th Cannes Film Festival all while completing my Master’s in Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London.

My experience spans television, radio, and digital platforms, underpinned by training in media law, journalism ethics, data reporting, and studio production. I’m also hands-on with tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, Avid, and CapCut.

Before journalism, I trained in opera, an experience that sharpened my ability to perform under pressure and connect with audiences through storytelling.

At the core of everything I do is a simple aim: to create stories that are engaging, relatable, and meaningful.

Career Highlights

Loose Women Goes to Parliament & MP Josh Babarinde's Domestic Abuse Story

For the Facing It Together domestic abuse campaign, I supported the nationwide rollout of posters across more than 600 venues, and took the campaign across the sea to Belfast. I worked on the Parliament VT, secured an interview with Minister for Victims Alex Davies-Jones, and handled all the research, legal checks, and duty of care for Josh Babarinde’s powerful interview. It was a whirlwind, but incredibly rewarding to see the campaign come to life on such a scale.

Cuban-American singing sensation Gloria Estefan joins our panel to celebrate fifty incredible years in music! The “Queen of Latin Pop” shows no signs of slowing down, marking the release of her new album, Raíces — her first full-length Spanish album in 18 years. I had the privilege of pre-interviewing Gloria for 45 minutes, hearing her story firsthand and bringing it to life on screen. She opens up about her favourite memories of the smash hit Conga, how she found her confidence as a musical star, and why age has inspired her to get even more creative.

Is Porn Ruining Young Men's Relationships? | Loose Men

Teasing up our first ever Loose Men survey later in the show, we’ll reveal that almost a third of men worry about how much they’re using porn with many believing that it’s negatively affecting their relationships. The panel discusses why they think this is, and move on to discuss whether dads should talk to their sons about porn. Joe reveals that after losing his dad at 11, his mum didn’t shy away from “the talk”. Meanwhile, Jordan says there’s no chance of a serious chat with his father about taboo topics.
